This very highly respected franchise from Paris caused quite a stir on the culinary scene when it opened. The service is impeccable. The brown-leather booths are very French, and you are likely to find couples enjoying their romantic rendezvous. The oysters from Brittany, France are delicious! Starters like the Salmon Tartarewith Hazelnut Oil and main dishes, which range from Pan-Fried Sea Bass to Roasted Pigeon with Pan-fried Duck Liver and Green Peas in a Truffle Sauce, areall found here.
Slick silver service and a brasserie style interior are the hallmarks of this top end restaurant. It is just short of pretentious since the foodis well presented andcooked properly. Interesting wine list lacking, if anything, good choice at the lower end. Live music is just right and the staff even smile if you do. A place to impress when you want to, or a place to hang out in if you want to be pampered. Needless to say not the cheapest, and the specials seem to attract a special pricing structure as well
The food are remarkably good. The ‘Rocket salad with pan-fried scallops and balsamic dressing’ u will defiantly have bring back pleasant memories. The B780 ‘Foie gras with apple sauce and truffle soup’ is superb, and the B980 ‘Imported duck leg confit with sauteed potatoes, mushrooms and bacon’ is a classic. The B420 ‘Pan-fried seabass with lobster bisque sauce’ is very enjoyable, and the B420 ‘Chocolate souffle’ is as good as u have found in Paris.
Equally impressive is the service. The servers are well trained and unobtrusive, but always on hand when you need them. The wine list is also notable. Extensive and filled with excellent choices, it has something for every dish on the menu. The live music from a guitar and bass, alongwith vocals, is a perfect match for the ambience of the restaurant
